Akkodis is seeking a
Designer for a
Contract job with a client in
Austin, TX/Elk Grove, IL(Hybrid) . You will design and maintain AV/VC infrastructure workflows and support RoomOS upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting in collaboration with Cisco TAC and field teams.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Designer job responsibilities include: - Design, develop, and maintain Ansible automation workflows for AV/VC infrastructure management.
- Create and enhance Splunk dashboards to monitor device health and service performance metrics.
- Support RoomOS upgrade cycles, including after-hours validation, testing, and post-deployment troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with Cisco TAC to resolve technical issues, report bugs, and drive feature enhancements.
- Perform end-to-end testing of AV systems and RoomOS features, providing structured feedback and bug reports.
- Contribute to GitHub repositories by validating automation workflows, participating in code reviews, and maintaining version control.
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in AV/VC infrastructure automation and support.
- Proven expertise in Ansible automation and Splunk dashboard development.
- Strong hands-on experience with RoomOS, Webex platforms, and Cisco TAC collaboration.
