Job Title: Design Infrastructure Lead
Location: Bay Area, CA
Our client is seeking a driven Design Infrastructure Lead with a strong background in rail infrastructure. This role involves leading and coordinating civil and cable routing designs for rail projects, ensuring integration across signaling, train, vehicle, and station systems. The ideal candidate will have deep industry experience and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate infrastructure design with internal teams and contractors.
- Develop design strategies and ensure project consistency and compliance.
- Respond to RFIs and manage site modifications and technical interface issues.
- Act as liaison between engineering and field teams.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Bluebeam to manage drawings and interfaces.
- Ensure all work complies with codes, standards, and client specifications.
Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in infrastructure design, with 3-5 years in railway projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (Revit/3D tools a plus).
- Strong understanding of RTM, interface registers, and design management processes.
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
- PE license in Electrical Engineering or Installation preferred.
