As a Cubicle Design Engineering Team Leader in Grid Technologies, your day will begin with a team briefing to review ongoing projects and set priorities. You will spend time coordinating with various departments, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
A significant part of your day will involve mentoring and guiding your team of engineers, providing technical expertise, and fostering a collaborative environment. You will also engage in strategic planning sessions, aligning design initiatives with the company's long-term goals. Regularly, you will review design proposals, conduct performance evaluations, and meet with clients to discuss project requirements and progress.

What You Bring:
- Educational Background: ONC/HNC Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Extensive experience in design engineering, with a proven track record of managing engineering teams and projects, preferably within the grid technologies or power systems sector.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Engineering Base, or similar) and a deep understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.
