The Design Engineer will play a critical role in the future growth/expansion of my client - they are forecasting impressive growth over the next 3 years, and as a result, they need an experienced Design Engineer to facilitate the large influx of new business. You will design custom products for new and existing customers, and streamline production through the design of custom tooling & fixtures.

Description

  • Design and implement innovative solutions for complex engineering problems
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure design feasibility
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for designs and processes
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed design models
  • Conduct regular design reviews and make necessary modifications
  • Adhere to all company safety regulations and industry standards
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure project timelines are met

Profile


  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred but not required
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar Engineering role
  • Proficiency in CAD software - SolidWorks experience required
  • Background working in sheet metal fabrication/welding environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A passion for industrial manufacturing and continuous improvement

Job Offer

  • Base salary between $70,000 - $85,000 depending on total package
  • Multiple annual bonus incentives
