About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Design Engineer to join our dynamic Aftermarket Enhancements Team. In this role, you'll help develop innovative kit solutions that enable performance upgrades, quality fixes, and safety improvements on our customers' heavy machinery and engines. This is a hands-on opportunity where you'll contribute to system design, test execution, and product validation in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
What You'll Do
Participate in the design and development of aftermarket enhancement kits alongside team leaders and subject matter experts.
Prepare and perform validation tests to ensure component and system-level reliability and function.
Assist in the preparation of electrical and mechanical test plans to support new product development.
Coordinate with various teams across the organization-systems engineering, marketing, supplier chain, and product support-to meet product requirements and timelines.
Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to define part specs and manage release documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
0-2 years of engineering experience (recent grads welcome).
Exposure to mechanical and electrical systems design.
Foundational understanding of software and hardware integration.
Knowledge of system architecture, including boundary diagrams and interaction mapping.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Ability to understand or write simple software code.
Familiarity with CAD tools like Creo or SolidWorks.
Awareness of test methodologies and product validation principles.
