Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a passionate educator to join the Center for Technology Essex (CTE) team, beginning in the 25/26 school year to teach the Design and Creative Media course. The position provides students with the academic and technical design and creative media skills necessary to enter employment with entry level job skills or to prepare them for post secondary certificate and degree programs in design and creative media. Provide classroom and hands-on "living laboratory" or field work educational experiences via the CTE Preschool Program.

The Design and Creative Media teacher will facilitate student learning so they think like a designer, use industry software to create a vast array of design projects, explore career opportunities, navigate the exciting ever changing design and media industries, and gain the opportunity for work experience with internships or full time paid co-op positions.

EWSD is committed to considering out-of-state candidates who are eligible to hold a Vermont educator license but do not yet hold a license in this state.

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
  • Hold (or be eligible to hold) a valid VT educator license with an applicable endorsement.
