Description

Brown Derby Deli is hiring a Dishwasher/Line Cook/Support Staff. This is a vital role in our restaurant and a great position for someone looking to be a part of a team in a fast paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Efficiently washes plates, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans utilizing automatic dishwasher and 3 compartment sink
• Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory
• Follow all health code guidelines

• Able to meet all scheduling commitments
• Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
• Strong attention to detail

Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

• Knowledge/experience working in a kitchen

• Must be able to work at a fast pace
• Reliable transportation to and from work with varying start and end times

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to move and position self around the kitchen
• Bending, stooping, and being positioned upright for long periods at a time
• Must be able to safely relocate up to 65 lbs.
