Description SAIC seeks a highly experienced and energetic Deputy Program Manager located in Colorado Springs, Colorado to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. These include the AN/FPQ-16, Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS), the AN/FPS-132, Upgraded Early Warning (UEWR) Radars and supporting systems. In support of the government program office, the Program Manager is principally responsible for exceptional accomplishment of entire task performance, to include meeting cost, schedule and technical requirements. The DPM is the "face-to-the-customer," responding to direction and managing the integration and completion of all project activities. Leads a multi-functional team of mission, hardware and software engineering, sustainment, training, logistics, security (including cyber) and support specialists responsible for overall system operational availability. Job Duties: Managing large-scale operational sustainment projects, to include cost estimating and management, schedule development, performance monitoring and reporting. Delivering logistics support services for geographically and internationally dispersed operations. Managing large-scale Agile or DevSecOps teams/projects, to include support to backlog grooming, cost estimating, baseline and risk management, schedule development, performance monitoring and reporting. Leading waterfall to agile transformations, designed to deliver Minimum Viable Products in a consistent cadence. Managing Digital and Model-based Systems Engineering efforts. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 18+ years of related experience. Additional experience will be accepted in lieu of degree. Current Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification. Active Secret Clearance. 12 years managing teams/projects acquiring, maintaining, and sustaining integrated solutions for mission-critical applications. Demonstrated proficiency in communicating with customers to fully understand operational requirements; and in translating those requirements into project plans and performance measures. Familiarity with mission-critical, data network operations, maintenance and sustainment. Familiarity with the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment architecture in context of strategic and joint operations. Familiarity with the US space surveillance architecture. Desired Qualifications: 12 years managing teams/projects acquiring, maintaining, and sustaining integrated solutions for Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment systems supporting missile surveillance, warning, and defense. Experience managing teams/projects acquiring, maintaining, and sustaining integrated solutions for space surveillance or other national security space mission systems. Experience maintaining national security mission networks. Experience in national security space operations and joint operations. Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
