Description Leidos is seeking a talented Deputy Program Manager to join our dynamic integration, operations, and sustainment team. In this pivotal role, you will lead a task order focused on the dissemination of critical products and be integral to all project management tasks associated with it. Collaborating closely with technical and program management leadership, your responsibilities will encompass staffing, training, finance, contracting, proposals, and daily team leadership. You will work actively with the task order team to define requirements, set priorities, assess risks, manage schedules, ensure quality, and establish processes to deliver effective solutions.
Primary Responsibilities This position is for a major IT program supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). As a successful candidate, you will engage closely with the task order team, internal Leidos program teams, leadership, partners, and external stakeholders to drive the success of the task order. Your duties will include leading and managing the task order, overseeing a diverse team, providing guidance and mentorship, and reviewing team performance. You will also have a significant role in hiring, promoting, and evaluating direct reports.
Basic Qualifications - A BS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Masters with 4+ years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for degree.
- An active TS clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI with Polygraph after hire.
- Proven experience as the primary point of contact for program technical, cost, and schedule performance issues.
- Experience in overseeing daily operations, assigning tasks, and reviewing team deliverables.
- Ability to build and maintain a strong working relationship with customers to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Experience implementing and leading agile organizational structures with hands-on participation.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive in addressing gaps in service due to personnel changes or fluctuations.
- Proven record of ensuring comprehensive program reporting on performance and status is completed on time.
- Experience in creating and maintaining technical and programmatic documentation required for effective program management.
- Skilled in consulting and coordinating to resolve issues, schedule tasks, and assess training needs.
- Experience consulting with users and stakeholders to determine computing needs and system requirements.
Preferred Qualifications - An active TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
- Experience in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) or working with the NGA.
- PMP certification.
- Relevant IT or technical certifications.
- Understanding of data center operations, specifically with Windows and RHEL infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, notably AWS.
- Expertise in DevOps and agile development methodologies, including certifications like SAFe.
- Comprehensive understanding of project management aspects, including contracts, proposals, staffing, and financial oversight.
- Experience leading teams or managing projects for 2+ years.

Pay Range: Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
