Description

NetCentrics is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support our government customer at the Global Service Center (J6) under the operational control of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) located in Arlington, VA. This role is critical in overseeing IT services and solutions provided to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) 4th Estate offices. The Deputy Program Manager will act as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Lead Program Manager and ensure contract requirements are met efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Lead Program Manager in overseeing program execution, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and customer expectations.
  • Provide leadership in managing IT services, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and procedures.
  • Offer strategic guidance and operational support to ensure high-quality IT service delivery to senior DoD leaders.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including government leadership and industry partners.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices, ITSM principles, and federal regulations related to IT service management.
  • Supervise and manage personnel across various labor categories to meet project scope and deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (preferably in an IT-related field).
  • Experience: Minimum of five years demonstrated experience as a program manager within the IT or defense sector.
  • Security Clearance: Active DoD-sponsored Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication, preferred this ability was with the highest levels of management.
  • Knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to Information Management operations, and with ITSM best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading and managing service delivery (SD) or sales efforts in a similar-sized organization to JSP.
  • Proven success in supervising and managing teams of various skill levels and labor categories.
  • Familiarity with industry standards related to Service Delivery (SD) operations and mission execution.
  • Prior experience in a DoD IT environment with an understanding of federal regulations and compliance.
  • Experience managing performance-based contracts and a solid understanding of FAR regulations.
