Spirehouse Recruitment are supporting a well-respected community organisation dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to individuals. We are looking for a dynamic and highly organised Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager to become a vital linchpin in their busy office.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Manager or Deputy Manager with a strong background in domiciliary care, and you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of the service.


The roles and duties of the Domiciliary Deputy Care Manager will include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures
  • Supporting and supervising care coordinators and care staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
  • Participating in the assessment of client needs and the development and review of person-centred care plans
  • Monitoring the quality of care delivery, ensuring that services are provided in a safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led manner
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, families, care staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination of services
  • Assisting with the development and management of staff rotas to ensure adequate service coverage
  • Aiding with audits, quality monitoring, and the implementation of improvement plans
  • Ensuring that safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to and that any concerns are reported and addressed appropriately.
