About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Deputy Chief Information Security Officer to join their dynamic team. This executive will play a critical role in the organization's information security program, with a focus on maturing and maintaining a robust security framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for security leadership, including the development and implementation of security and compliance goals, and will be a key partner in modernizing identity and access management. They will also lead the response to security incidents, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and work closely with IT, legal, and compliance teams to address security issues. The role requires a leader with a strong background in information security, advanced knowledge of security technology, and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Candidates for this position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree a plus) and a minimum of 10 years' experience in information technology security, preferably in a healthcare setting. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CHISL, or CISM are preferred.
