The pay for this position is $14-$21/hr, with a starting rate of $20.67.

Schedule: Open availability and weekends are required.

Benefits start on day one.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage inventory levels to meet store capacity, promotions, and customer needs, ensuring all daily orders are completed.
  • Drive departmental sales through excellent customer service and maintain product freshness and availability, including executing daily date checks. Provide training and motivation to staff to uphold these standards.
  • Keep assigned areas visually appealing and ensure pricing standards are met.
  • Utilize computers for necessary tasks.
  • Stock shelves, create displays, ring up sales, and complete cleaning duties as needed.
  • Open and close Chef'store in the absence of management and perform Manager on Duty responsibilities as required.
  • Exemplify and promote our cultural beliefs.
  • Ensure a well-maintained and safe environment for both staff and customers by adhering to safety policies and practices.
  • Identify and address safety issues, notifying management of any concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Store Management.
SUPERVISION:
  • This position does not require direct supervision of staff but may involve monitoring performance and providing real-time coaching to help associates achieve goals.
RELATIONSHIPS:
  • Internal: Interact with employees across all levels of the company.
  • External: Engage with all customers and service providers.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Work is performed in a retail store setting, open to the public, with exposure to varying weather conditions. The noise level is typically moderate. Duties may require the use of ladders or working at elevated surfaces, with temperatures ranging from -10 to 85 degrees. Interacting with customers is essential.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Three (3) years of experience in a retail, restaurant, or customer service environment.
  • Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including holidays and weekends, is required.
  • Competency in computer use, including word processing, email, and internet software.

EDUCATION:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
