JOB SUMMARY:
The qualified Dentist will provide high quality dental care in the full scope of dental in treating problems associated with the teeth and surrounding tissues in the mouth, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and dental maintenance to patients. The Dentist would be an integral part of the care team and work collaboratively with all patients and staff. The Dentist will also provide dental treatment care coordination and supervision to the hygienist.
A. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Licensure:
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
• Must have successfully completed a 4-year accredited dental school program.
• Valid license to practice dentistry in the State of Colorado.
• Valid unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA") registration.
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience
B. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide integration of preventive dental services with medical and behavioral health services.
• Provide preventive, hygiene, emergency, restorative, surgical, endodontic, and prosthetic dental services to Tepeyac patients.
• Provide preventative services within our school-based outreach model
• Maintain patient records in eDW to be consistent with industry standards and facilitate billing.
• Complete chart notes within 7 days of service provision.
• Facilitate, with assistance from referral coordinator and case manager, proper referral coordination for patients.
• Participate in quality improvement/data initiatives as they relate to dental.
• Achieve monthly patient and service provision benchmarks as identified in the Dental Services Plan.
• Refer patients for care as needed
• Attend required internal meetings and/or trainings
• Other duties as assigned

• Entry level Spanish speaking proficiency preferred
• Electronic Dental Record (EDR) experience preferred
Supervision: None
• 1-3 years of pediatric experience preferred
Pay and Benefits:
