Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform comprehensive new patient exams and treatment planning
- Conduct a full range of general dentistry procedures
- Perform simple and surgical extractions
- Provide restorative treatments including fillings, crowns, and bridges
- Deliver root canal treatments and manage endodontic cases
- Restore dental implants
- Manage and treat dental emergencies
- Perform oral surgery procedures within the scope of general dentistry
- Provide non-surgical periodontal treatments
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Denticon software
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient care
- Adhere to clinic and military base policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure effective communication with patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in general dentistry
