Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Digital Design Technician will create orthodontic digitally rendered tooth models and set up for treatment with fixed appliances, using proprietary software.

Responsibilities for this job include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Inspect submitted data for incoming case validation
  • Compare images to case notes
  • Digitally segment dental arches into individual teeth
  • Notate dental landmarks
  • Adjust case according to doctor instruction and feedback
  • Direct or indirect communication with the customer is required for case synopsis and/or software training if requests are not sufficient for processing
  • Customize bracket prescription based on doctor's case approval
  • Digitally create indirect bonding trays to print on 3D printers
  • Product assurance review using managed control standards

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

5+ years of orthodontic clinical knowledge (Required)

2+ years of CAD/CAM experience (Preferred)

5+ years of experience working with digital software (Orthodontic preferred)

3+ years of Computer Gaming experience (Preferred)

2+ years of experience in a professional environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
