Gentle Dental is currently hiring a Dental Hygienist for our office in West Chester.

Position Overview:

As a Dental Hygienist at Gentle Dental , you'll provide exceptional care through routine cleanings, assessments, and education, all while supporting a dynamic team of dental professionals. We offer a friendly, growth-oriented workplace where patient comfort is always a priority.

Schedule:

Full-time or part-time position available.

Part-time would be at our West Chester location working Wednesdays & Thursdays (9:00-5:00).

Full-time would also include Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays at our Thorndale location.

$2,500.00 sign on bonus

Previous experience working as a hygienist is always a plus, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well. The hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of PA. New hygiene grads must be applying for license soon.

Responsibilities:
Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times
Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral health treatment and dental care education in accordance with state-approved guidelines.
Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
