Dental Hygienist

American Dental Center is looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist , to join our multi-doctor, clinical team in Union, New Jersey .

This role focuses on delivering high-quality dental care through comprehensive oral health services and patient education. Schedule - Some flexibility available

Tuesdays (9:00-7:00)

Thursdays (9:00-7:00)

Saturdays 2 per month (8:00-2:00)

Previous experience working as a hygienist is always great, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well. The hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of New Jersey. New hygiene grads must be applying for license soon. Must also be local anesthesia certified or willing to get certified (for which we will reimburse).

Responsibilities:
Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
Conduct oral health assessments and take dental X-rays
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
Assist dentists with exams and treatments as needed
Maintain accurate patient records, medical history and ensure compliance with industry regulations
Follow sterilization and infection control protocols

Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Certification in local anesthesia
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
