Dental Hygienist

Job description

Candidate must be available 2 days a week

Responsibilities
Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride and sealants, and root planning.
Aid the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed
Maintain patient confidentiality
Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards
Able to commit to 2 days/week with ROOM TO GROW
Must be able to deliver anesthetic
Self motivated/creative time management
Comfortable shifting into positions (i.e. sterile, assisting, front desk, tx plan presentation, collections)
Able to form and grow bonds with assistants and DDS
Potential of 1 Saturday/month key word potential
Comfortable making and taking phone calls, making confirmation calls, and reminder calls.
Well rehearsed in patient education restorative/surgical/hygiene

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene
Registered Dental Hygienist license
Current CPR certification
1-2 years of experience working in a dental practice is a MUST
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care
Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices
Licensed to administer local anesthesia

Benefits and Pay
$50-$60 per hour
3% production on top of hourly wage.
