Denial Management Analyst to play a vital role in securing accurate reimbursement for the care we provide. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys navigating the complexities of insurance and revenue cycle processes.
What You'll Do: - Monitor claim reimbursements for accuracy based on payer contracts and regulations.
- Investigate and resolve claim denials by working directly with payers, providers, and internal departments.
- Analyze denial trends and escalate systemic issues for process improvement.
- Draft effective appeal letters and resubmit claims as needed.
- Use EMR/RCM systems to document denial activities and track appeal progress.
- Support our revenue cycle performance by participating in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts.
What We're Looking For:Required: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations with a focus on denial management.
- Knowledge of insurance billing, payer reimbursement methods (DRG, APC, etc.), and coding principles (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with EMR or revenue cycle software.
Preferred: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certifications such as CRCS (AAHAM), CPC (AAPC), CCS (AHIMA), or CHC (HCCA).
- Experience with Critical Access Hospital billing and Epic systems.

Compensation & Employment Details - Salary Range: $20.36 - $30.54 per hour (commensurate with experience)
