What is a Demand Planner:

Are you a data-driven thinker with a passion for turning insights into action? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Demand Planner to play a key role in shaping our inventory strategy and ensuring we meet customer needs with precision and efficiency. This is a highly visible and strategic position that offers the opportunity to make a real impact on our business success.

In this role, you'll leverage your analytical expertise and market insight to develop accurate demand forecasts that directly inform supply planning, product development, and operational decisions. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and other key stakeholders to align forecasts with business goals and ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time.

What you can expect to do as a Demand Planner:
  • Own the short- and long-term demand planning process across a rolling 12-month horizon using advanced statistical models.
  • Partner closely with Sales to integrate customer forecasts, sales projections, and new product launches into a unified demand plan.
  • Cleanse and analyze historical sales data to identify trends, seasonality, and key demand drivers.
  • Monitor forecast KPIs (accuracy, bias, etc.) and continuously refine planning methodologies to improve performance.
  • Support strategic decision-making by providing actionable insights and contributing to executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Commercialization, and Customer Service to develop effective inventory strategies.
  • Take a leading role in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to ensure alignment across the business.
  • Assist with user testing and implementation of planning tools like M3 and M3 DMP.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and standard processes for demand planning workflows.
  • Dive into complex datasets to uncover patterns, solve problems, and drive strategic recommendations.
What we are looking for in a Demand Planner:
  • 2+ years of experience in demand planning or 4+ years in supply planning.
  • 5+ years working cross-functionally and communicating across all organizational levels.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical forecasting techniques (e.g., time series analysis, regression, trend analysis).
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP and demand planning systems (preferably SAP, Oracle, or M3).
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to influence and drive change
  • Comfortable navigating cultural and organizational barriers to implement improvements.

The annual salary range below is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include but are not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
