Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planner in our team at Bellshill to actively engage with Distributor partners and WGS Markets to deliver a robust demand plan utilizing the S&OP framework. Successfully manage demand for sell-in/sell-out of renovation and innovation projects, ensuring obsolescence is minimized and launches are met.


Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Commercial teams and Markets to identify and develop key opportunities, and mitigate forecast risks to achieve business strategy and targets.
  • Support and lead Demand Review meetings in key markets aligned with the S&OP process.
  • Analyze trends and seasonal profiles to advise commercial teams on demand plan revisions when necessary.
  • Ensure demand aligns with global allocations policy through regular reviews, highlighting opportunities and risks.
  • Create and maintain an 18-month rolling demand forecast using statistical modeling, market analysis, and historical data.
  • Support innovation and renovation teams with realistic pipe-fill plans, minimizing obsolescence, and ensuring product availability for launches.
  • Develop relationships with third parties & ODCs and across stakeholders to support operational performance and timely information sharing.
  • Support KPIs related to inventory and obsolescence through active product lifecycle management.
  • Report on and influence MAPE and BIAS metrics at SKU, Market, and Regional levels.
  • Maintain process frameworks and documentation with proper governance.
  • Develop depletion forecasts and manage data accuracy and robustness.
  • Participate in team activities, meetings, and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Collaborate with peers, applying learnings from training and development activities.
Ideal Candidate
  • Strategic thinker with experience in demand planning or supply chain management, strong analytical skills, proficiency in statistical modeling and S&OP processes.
  • Proven experience in demand forecasting, market trend analysis, and product lifecycle management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, experience managing MAPE and BIAS metrics, advanced Excel and ERP skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for leading meetings and collaborating across teams.
  • Data-driven decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and process efficiency skills.
