Want a fast-paced, rewarding career at a fast-growing, global tech company?

Luminance is a young AI company that is growing rapidly: today, Luminance's technology is helping over 600 customers in 70 countries globally. With ambitious growth plans, we are looking for bright, passionate and hungry people across a wide range of roles.

As a Delivery Engineer, you are responsible for the software development lifecycle (SDLC) that results in packaged releases of Luminance software that can be distributed to our client base. During your day-to-day, you will ensure that the lifecycle runs efficiently and to a high standard, driving processes forward to help meet commercial goals and adding assistance and guidance to the tech team when you come across inefficiencies or bottlenecks. Your long-term responsibilities are to analyse the SDLC for weak points and propose or build human and/or automation solutions that provide long-term benefit to the efficiency, reliability, and visibility of the SDLC.

If you are excited about this role but your skill or experience doesn't perfectly align with the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. At Luminance, we are dedicated to building and promoting an inclusive workplace where everyone can flourish. You might just be who we're looking for, for this role or another - enthusiasm is by far the most important requirement for any applicant to Luminance.

Employee Benefits
  • Modern offices that are located in the heart of London, Cambridge, and New York
  • 'Superstar' employees unlock an additional 2 days holiday for that year, vouchers for their team, and the ability to work from anywhere for two weeks of the year
  • Paid one month sabbatical after four years' employment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with a First or 2:1, preferably in a technical subject
  • Can build if required, but more importantly, you know what good looks like and are able to direct other teams as a result
  • Teamwork: Highly empathetic to different teams' needs, understanding of Luminance people and product
  • Communication: Can organise and simplify information and summarise/translate to different stakeholders, calm under pressure, confident/self-belief/assertive when right
  • Project Management: Pragmatism - the ability to balance delivery vs quality pressures, strong work ethic, a sense of urgency in their work, reliable - will follow something through to completion
  • Adaptable - can learn quickly on the fly to facilitate good decision making
  • Vision: Desire to make an impact to Luminance, desire to learn lots of new skills, desire to automate, optimise and simplify

To apply, send your CV and cover letter indicating the opportunity you are interested in to - join us in shaping the future of AI technology.
