Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and professional Delivery Driver with a Chauffeur License to join our team in Bossier City, LA. This position is responsible for safely transporting goods to customers and job sites while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior delivery experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers and job sites.
- Load and unload materials efficiently, ensuring accurate deliveries.
- Verify delivery details, including addresses, orders, and customer instructions.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed when not making deliveries.
Qualifications: - Must have a valid Chauffeur License and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or similar role preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials as needed (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow assigned routes efficiently.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance.
