As a Deli Manager, no one day is ever the same. You are someone who can display exceptional customer service skills, be knowledgeable of our deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, gourmet, and hot case items and prepare delicious foods that will keep our customers returning to the store. Main responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide high-quality service, adhering to company standards and policies. Greet customers, take orders, and create a welcoming experience.
• Staff Management: Train, schedule, and supervise deli employees to ensure proper staffing.
• Production Planning: Plan daily production, perform inventory, and monitor store portal and mailbox.
• Customer Interaction: Resolve customer issues related to sales or service.
• Inventory Management: Perform daily inventory checks and order necessary supplies.
• Food Preparation: Prepare and display hot and cold deli food, including fruit and seasonal trays. Operate slicers and other equipment.
• Sales Promotion: Inform customers about deli products, provide samples, and promote sales.
• Cash Handling: Operate cash register, process payments, and make change accurately.
• Stock Management: Inventory, restock, and organize deli cases and storage areas.
• Compliance: Adhere to weights and measures, food safety, sanitation regulations, and company policies. Perform temperature and tare checks daily.
• Appearance Standards: Follow uniform and grooming policies.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• Customer Service: Follow company procedures and demonstrate prior experience.
• Promotion Eligibility: Meet interview requirements and pass for promotion.
• Professional Interaction: Engage professionally with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Basic Skills: Read, write, perform basic math, and communicate in English.
• Instruction Compliance: Understand and follow instructions.
• Task Completion: Complete tasks within expected time frames.
• Product Knowledge: Know products, pricing, sales reports, and department layout.
• Decision Making: Make quality decisions with minimal supervision.
• Direction Handling: Give and receive direction effectively.
• Report Analysis: Analyze reports accurately.
• Multitasking: Handle multiple tasks under stress and time constraints.
• Shift Flexibility: Work varied shifts in a 24-hour operation.
• Certification: Pass food safety and other required tests.
• Age and Equipment: Be at least 18 years old and operate deli equipment.
• Uniform Compliance: Adhere to uniform policy.
