We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Cafeteria Manager to oversee operations at our on-site refinery cafeteria. This role is crucial to maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and food quality. The successful candidate will manage daily kitchen operations, lead catering services, ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, and play a key role in minimizing food waste and optimizing cost control measures.
Key Responsibilities: - Supervise daily cafeteria and kitchen operations, including food preparation, serving, and cleanliness.
- Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures are strictly followed in compliance with OSHA and food handling guidelines.
- Lead and manage a team of kitchen and support staff; schedule shifts, delegate responsibilities, and provide training. Ensure punctuality and accountability across all kitchen staff.
- Oversee all catering operations for on-site events and meetings, ensuring quality and timely service.
- Monitor inventory and place orders as needed to ensure consistent supply while minimizing waste and spoilage.
- Maintain accurate records for compliance, billing, and reporting purposes.
- Foster a positive team culture while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service.
Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in food service management, preferably in an industrial, institutional, or high-volume setting.
- Proven knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
- Strong computer skills, including proficient in Excel, Word, etc.
- Must be able to pass drug test and background check.
Preferred Qualifications: - ServSafe Manager Certification
