We seek a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-food chicken restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food quality, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining food safety and cleanliness while ensuring the operation's profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Food Quality Management:
    • Ensure the preparation and presentation of food meets company standards for quality and taste.
    • Regularly evaluate menu items for quality and consistency and implement improvements as necessary.
    • Conduct taste tests and provide feedback to kitchen staff.
  2. Food Safety Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with local health regulations.
    • Train kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and safety protocols.
    • Monitor food inventory and storage practices to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
  3. Facility Cleanliness:
    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
    • Develop and enforce cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and address any issues promptly.
  4. Staff Management and Training:
    • Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to recipes and operational procedures.
    • Schedule staff shifts effectively to meet peak operational demands while controlling labor costs.
    • Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork among kitchen personnel.
  5. Financial Performance and Profitability:
    • Monitor food costs and labor costs, implementing strategies to maximize profitability.
    • Analyze sales data and make adjustments to inventory and staffing levels to optimize performance.
    • Assist in menu pricing and portion control to enhance profit margins.
  6. Inventory Management:
    • Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory control of food and supplies.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize waste and ensure stock levels meet operational needs.
  7. Customer Service:
    • Ensure consistently high standards of customer service by maintaining quality and efficiency in food preparation.
    • Address customer concerns and feedback promptly to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or management certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a fast food or casual dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in inventory management and basic financial analysis.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Capable of lifting up to weight pounds and performing repetitive tasks.
