Job Number: R Defense Mission Professional & Policy Expert The Opportunity: As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for someone like you to help create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe. As a defense mission professional, you'll bring your background to work on projects for the United States Marine Corps. You'll provide subject matter expertise for the development, administration, execution, and evaluation of USMC processes for installation communications services. You will support headquarters level staff in the refinement and validation of objectives and apply broad understanding of organizing groups of stakeholders in order to build shared understanding of complex challenges. You will facilitate collective problem solving, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and implement new solutions based on industry best practices. You will perform risk assessments of ongoing initiatives, generate plans and strategies for mitigation, and apply advanced, structured problem-solving techniques and skills. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: 10+ years of experience providing policy support working in a DoD environment
6+ years of experience with DoD planning and coordination across multiple DoD agencies in support of Combatant Commanders and Joint Forces
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and SharePoint
Knowledge of DoD policy and documentation development, including letters of instruction and formal messages
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience working in a DoD installation management command
Experience providing policy support working in a DoD C4 environment
E xperience supporting USMC headquarters, such as Flag level 2-3 Star Command or higher, staff or DoD equivalent
Experience with the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) in coordination with the Capabilities Based Assessment process between USMC organizations
Master's degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
