Description

The National Security Sector's Engineering, Integration and Operations Division at Leidos is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer and Solutions Architect to drive innovation in our Defense Logistics & Modernization initiatives. In this role, you will tackle complex challenges through cutting-edge technology, modernization strategies, and transformative processes. Join our dynamic team to shape impactful solutions and integrate advanced technologies into various projects and proposals.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with subject matter experts to develop unique and effective solutions to be implemented in EIO programs. You will also educate government clients on the benefits and value of Leidos solutions, showcasing technical capabilities, features, and transformation strategies through engaging presentations and proof of concepts.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as the principal Systems Engineer Subject Matter Expert for the DLM division, supporting both current programs and growth opportunities.
  • Drive innovation by creating and executing a comprehensive technology roadmap, and developing technical strategies for business captures.
  • Collaborate effectively with the DLM Division Manager and Growth team to ensure proper solutioning for opportunities, aiming to increase our Probability of Win (PWIN).
  • Participate in strategy reviews, technology readiness assessments, and color reviews, ensuring a consistent capture process.
  • Enhance Leidos best practices by leveraging lessons learned and developing innovative solutions through research and design.
  • Analyze competitor and partner technologies to identify differentiators that can enhance Leidos' competitive advantage.
Basic Qualifications
  • BS degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10-13 years of experience (additional experience may substitute for education).
  • Experience in technical roles within similar organizations, showcasing increasing responsibilities over time.
  • Proven track record with large acquisition programs.
  • Strong business acumen, including staff planning and development of cost estimates.
  • Expertise in digital modernization technologies, such as cloud, data, cyber, network, and end-user capabilities.
  • Experience leading technical teams, including solution architects and developers.
  • Proficient in developing and managing technology roadmaps and portfolios.
  • Familiarity with the NIST Risk Management Framework.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated capability to lead teams and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with Army, Navy, and Air Force customers is highly desired.
  • Proven ability to deliver solutions across various technologies, including cloud, data, cyber, network, and ERP.

Pay Range:
Pay Range: $126,100.00 - $227,950.00

The Leidos pay range for this level is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Factors influencing the offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
