Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a dynamic litigation firm in its search for a Defense Litigation Attorney with 4-8 years of experience to join its busy team. This is a direct hire, hybrid role out of the firm's Woodland Hills offices.
This is an opportunity to work with an extremely friendly and collaborative group - they are super busy and are adding to their team. Mentorship opportunities with high-caliber partners; trial experience not necessary but experience in insurance defense (at least 2 years) is ideal. Beautiful offices, free parking - the Firm is open to hybrid work schedule if the candidate needs it.
Qualifications of the Defense Litigation Attorney include but are not limited to:
- 4-8 years of defense litigation experience;
- Experience taking and defending depositions, including expert witnesses;
- Active California Bar license, in good standing;
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with a passion for advocacy.
Responsibilities of the Defense Litigation Attorney include but are not limited to:
- managing defense litigation caseload from inception to resolution;
- drafting quality legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings;
- conducting depositions;
- effectively communicating with clients throughout the litigation process;
- developing and executing defense strategies;
- collaborating with teams;
- appearing at pre-trial matters and hearings.
Billables: 1950
All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time. Infrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.
Base salary range: $135,000 - $170,000, commensurate with experience
Bonuses.
