DAI DCSA Help Desk Team Lead/SME Make an Impact with Anglicotech.


Location: Quantico, VA (Hybrid)

Annual Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 (depending on experience and education)

Clearance: U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Availability: Immediate


We are seeking a DAI SME with immediate availability that will thrive in a challenging and rewarding process-oriented environment, to take on the position of DAI Help Desk Team Lead. The Team Lead will be responsible to supervise the DAI Help Desk Specialists.


The DAI Help Desk will support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The Help Desk Specialist shall provide comprehensive support for the successful operation and maintenance of capabilities developed under the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI). The Help Desk Specialist shall manage a helpdesk supporting 6,000-6,500 users, ensure effective communication with DAI stakeholders, and provide essential documentation, training, and troubleshooting services. The helpdesk manages an estimated 300-400 new tickets per month, requiring a robust support structure to address ongoing and emerging system issues.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a dynamic team of DAI Help Desk Specialists, ensuring effective resolution of user issues within the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) system.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between DCSA and the DAI Help Desk team, ensuring alignment with agency objectives.
  • Support DCSA leadership by providing expert guidance on DAI system functionality, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
  • Supervise and manage the DAI Help Desk Specialists, ensuring effective resolution of user issues.
  • Provide a single point of contact for resolving DAI system-related issues and tracking trouble tickets.
  • Deliver one-on-one and group training (in-person or virtual) on DAI procedures.
  • Compile and analyze helpdesk ticket metrics, providing regular reports to Government COR and PM.
  • Participate in system change request (SCR) documentation, submission, and tracking with the DAI PMO.
  • Manage and maintain helpdesk documentation, including SOPs and desk guides.
  • Support financial processing functions, including purchase requisition troubleshooting, obligation creation, invoice matching, and transaction reconciliations.
  • Oversee user account management, including provisioning, access control, and security compliance.
  • Conduct technical support for system integrations, financial data processing, and system upgrades.
  • Provide budget and financial management support, including spend plan management and revenue reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD financial management and procurement policies, providing guidance on best practices.
  • Coordinate and participate in meetings with DAI stakeholders and program offices to improve system functionality and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications:

Security Clearance:

  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated Personnel Security Investigation (PSI.) Minimum acceptable investigation is a T-1 or a National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI).
  • Ability to obtain a Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret.

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Business or similar.
  • Shall have a minimum of 5-10 years DAI Helpdesk experience.
  • Shall have a minimum of 5-10 years of DoD financial management systems support experience.
  • Expertise in DAI system operations, helpdesk management, and financial data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of DoD financial management, budget execution, and procurement processes.
  • Experience in providing user training, troubleshooting, and documentation maintenance.
  • Proficiency in system integration, reconciliation, and issue resolution related to financial transactions.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial and operational data for reporting and decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills for interfacing with Government stakeholders and users.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Prior experience supporting a Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) financial environment.
  • Knowledge of DAI integration with external financial systems, including U.S. Bank, DTS, and G-Invoicing.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other enterprise ticket management systems.
  • Experience with PowerBI.
  • Understanding of data analytics tools such as Advana.
  • DoD Financial Management certification or equivalent financial system certification.
