Insight Global is looking for a DDI Network Engineer for the cybersecurity organization at a large financial institution.



About the Role

This ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM), with a focus on VitalQIP and BlueCat technologies. This person will be involved in managing global DDI systems, overseeing the full lifecycle of service requests-from design and peer review to implementation and closure-and ensuring accurate execution of change requests. This resource will work with HP to identify and release unused IP addresses, helping to reclaim valuable network space. This individual will take full ownership of the task, while the existing global team continues managing the current queue alongside the BAU team. This ideal candidate will be excellent in delivering consistent, high-quality service within Network Operations. This candidate needs to be able to work 3 days a week on-site and work 1PM-10PM EST.



Responsibilities

  • Manage global DDI systems.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of service requests-from design and peer review to implementation and closure.
  • Ensure accurate execution of change requests.
  • Work with HP to identify and release unused IP addresses.
  • Take full ownership of the task while collaborating with the global team.


Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a DDI Network Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancing, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and basic routing/switching.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) services, specifically with VitalQIP and BlueCat.
  • Available to work on-site 3 days a week in Charlotte, NC and work 2nd shift times (1PM-10PM EST).


Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency with tools such as Remedy, PuTTY, Windows PowerShell.
