Reference Data management team is looking to hire experienced application DBA.

Job Purpose:

• Provide Application Database support to the entire reference data team for its enhancements.

• Responsible for ensuring availability and performance tuning of the databases that support the system.

• Work with the team to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high availability and optimum performance.

• To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.

• Responsible for providing trend analysis to the service management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management.

• Responsible for problem escalation to Oracle Development team and third parties as appropriate.

• Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades.

• Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• Experience with Oracle RDBMS on RHEL 7/8

• Oracle database optimization for hybrid data processing

• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server and MySQL is a plus

• Experience with CyberArk, Redhat OpenShift, Autosys, ServiceNow is a plus.

• Experience with NOSQL DB is a plus

Pay Range: $70-$75/hr W2 (Negotiable)

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
