Daycare Cook

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, caring, and organized cook to join our childcare team. The con will be responsible for preparing, and serving nutritious meals and snacks to children, ensuring all food is age-apppropiate and compliant with health and safety regulations. This role is essential to the wellbeing of the children and to creating a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook daily meals and snacks according to planned menus, dietary needs, and age appropriate guidelines.

Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, following all health and safety regulations.

Monitor food inventory and have it turned in on time.

Safely store food and manage proper labelling and rotation.

Accommodate special dietary needs, including allergies and food restrictions.

Collaborate with the daycare staff and director to support meal scheduling and classroom needs.

Follow all daycare and licensing agency policies related to food safety and preparation.
