Summary
SUMMARY: Supports, coordinates, implements and/or maintains the division's databases; functions as reporting leader responsible for facilitating appropriate reporting requirements and solutions in support of quality improvement, patient safety, risk reduction, and accreditation; focuses on data integrity, optimization, integration, and standardization for the organization.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: NOTE: Following are the duties performed by employees in this classification. However, employees may perform other related duties at an equivalent level. Not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each individual in the classification.
1. Oversees the ongoing development and operations of Quality, Patient Safety, Risk and Accreditation databases that facilitates monitoring of performance improvement, patient safety and survey readiness; works with stakeholders to design standard work, tools, and reports.
2. Educates, informs, and consults with peers to effectively determine system needs and resolve problems.
3. Provides support and assistance to process owners throughout project life cycle; works with process owners to develop and execute end user trainings; works with users to troubleshoot functional issues.
4. Monitors database integrity and works with Information Technology to identify and resolve issues.
5. Improves and streamlines processes regarding standard work, data flow and reporting accuracy, viability and value.
6. Performs other duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Required in Public Health, Project Management, Information Technology or other related field.
Required Experience: Three years working with database structures and maintenance.
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with regulatory standards (state law, Joint Commission, conditions of participation) and CMS Quality Reporting Programs.
