Description

Summary of Duties

Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, guests, and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations. Maintain strict privileged, proprietary, guest, and employer confidentiality during and beyond the term of my employment. Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards.

Position Description

To provide all levels of systems database design & support to all departments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Perform operational analysis, utilizing financials to support short-term and long-term strategic plans related to new initiatives and current projects.

• Apply analysis to reach conclusions and make recommendations that benefit the business.

• Interpret, evaluate, and conduct research to support business analysis and projections.

• Gather, transform, and analyze data from various sources, including confidential internal and external data, into coherent and organized information suitable for consumption by senior leadership.

• Effectively supports multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously without adversely affecting deadline commitments.

• Maintain database for optimum performance and operation.

• Ensure the successful backup of the database and related log files.

• Periodically validate restoration capabilities of backed-up database systems.

• Document daily database performance statistics for future analysis.

Requirements

Education/Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in database management.

• Advanced proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)

• In-depth knowledge of best practices in database management.

• Advanced analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. and attention to detail.

6+ years of database experience in the industry or a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of database experience in the industry.

Licensing

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License

Work Requirements Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
