Database Engineer with Security Clearance

Description & Requirements Maximus is seeking an experienced Database Engineer to join our team. The Database Engineer will provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. Requires expertise in specialty area. At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area. A Bachelor degree in related field required. Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience. This position is contingent upon award of the contract. This position requires an active Secret Security clearance or higher. Although this role may be performed remotely, occasional paid travel to the client site in San Antonio, Texas or Baltimore, Maryland may be required. • Ten (10) years combined experience in each of the following for relational and cloud-based databases: a. Database development and software engineering/development b. Database Design and Data Modeling c. Requirements analysis/generation d. Developing systems and software architectures
• Must have 5 years' experience working with Enterprise DB.
• 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL

• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated installation scripts.

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
