Position Description Serco is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team at the Afloat Training Group in Norfolk, Virginia. The selected candidate will review program data, evaluate program plans and changes, and assist in the preparation of documents at various senior levels with military and civilian stakeholders. In this role, you will: Analyze program information and strategize plans. Produce quality analytic work in the form of white papers, briefs, and executive correspondence. Conduct training data analysis utilizing the TORIS database to support data calls from TYCOM and USFF. Maintain historical data for trend/performance analysis. Develop, collect, monitor, and analyze Unit Level Training (ULT) metrics. Track ULT manpower data utilizing the Master Scheduling Program (MSP) for trend analysis. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, or Master's degree with 1 year of experience, or High School diploma / Equivalent with 7 years of experience. Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Navy training operations. Experience conducting fleet training analysis/assessment. Must possess an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance. To be successful in this role, you will have: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare and present clear, concise analysis to senior leadership. Self-motivation and ability to work independently. Additional desired experience and skills: 3 years' experience as an operator/technician with MSP, TORIS, and DRRS-N. Experience as a Navy Training Officer or within a command training organization.
