BAE Systems is looking for a Database Administrator to provide support to our government customer on an upcoming opportunity. Duties include, but are not limited to: - Responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation - Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems - Applies knowledge of API (Application Programing Interface) for data services and databases - Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, installs and administers database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management - Designs and implements databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, ETL tasks, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods - Prepares system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation - Defines database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation - May provide technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environment - Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned Required Education, Experience, & Skills MS & 2 years relevant experience; BS & 4 years relevant experience; AA & 6 years relevant experience; HS & 8 years relevant experience Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
