Tiber Creek is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server for a contingent position on our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Power Platform for developing database access authorizations and possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication and teamwork abilities are essential for this role. Location: Hybrid / Fort Stewart, Georgia
Education: MS with 10+yrs experience or BS with 12+ yrs experience
Certifications: DoDD 8570.01 within 6 months (required.) Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate); Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals desired.) Clearance: DoD Secret clearance.

• Develop Database Access Authorizations: Utilize Microsoft Power Platform to develop and manage database access authorizations on a daily basis. Synchronize database access authorizations with the arrivals and departures of personnel on a weekly basis.
• Develop Best Practices for Database Access Authorizations: Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implement best practices for database access authorizations identified by staff on a weekly basis. Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices quarterly. Stay current with industry standards and practices related to security and access control and provide relevant updates during training sessions quarterly.
• Cybersecurity Assessment Metrics: Provide a summary of cybersecurity assessment metrics on Microsoft Power Platform monthly.
• Database Efficiency and Error Response: Ensure that the database operates efficiently and rapidly respond to errors on a daily basis. Maintain database uptime of at least 99% daily. Respond to critical database issues within 2 hours during business hours daily. Ensure all database access changes are implemented in accordance with established security protocols weekly.
• Documentation and Backup: Develop and maintain documentation on database configuration, access authorizations, and standard operating procedures monthly. Implement backup and recovery plans, ensuring data integrity and availability weekly. Minimum Qualifiers:
• Current DoD Secret clearance.
• Candidates must be local to Fort Stewart GA.
• Unable to work with 3rd party candidates or agencies.
