We're seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join a growing IT Infrastructure team in Grapevine, TX. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on designing, securing, and optimizing critical database systems that support Real Time operations and long-term growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage SQL Server databases across development, test, and production environments
  • Monitor performance, ensure high availability, and tune systems for optimal operation
  • Implement and maintain robust data security, patching, and backup strategies
  • Oversee database design and modeling, supporting scalable, integrated solutions
  • Lead knowledge transfer from third-party DBAs and streamline internal processes
  • Align database policies with ISO27001 standards and support audit readiness
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and security teams to ensure system integrity
  • Support complex query tuning, schema optimization, and performance troubleshooting
  • Provide 24/7 support for mission-critical systems and execute after-hours maintenance
  • Mentor teammates and document key procedures for operational consistency

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in SQL Server database administration
  • Strong expertise with SQL Server Availability Groups and Windows Server environments
  • Experience configuring and managing high-performance, secure databases
  • Familiarity with data modeling, backup solutions, and compliance frameworks like ISO27001
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in technical environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and contribute as a team player
  • Able to lift IT equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel occasionally (less than 5%)
