Job Title: Database Administrator I

Pay Rate: $30-$35/hour

Contract Details: W2 contract-to-hire

Location: 5 days on-site in Greenwood Village, CO

FTE Conversion Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000


About the Role:

Our Fortune 500 client is seeking two entry-level Database Administrator I professionals to join their Operational Analytics and Innovations (OAI) team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining robust data solutions to support Customer Operations, Inbound Sales & Retention, Digital Self-Service, and executive-level insights using speech analytics and AI technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • ETL Development & Maintenance (30-40%)
  • Build and maintain ETL processes to ingest and transform data from multiple sources into environments like Snowflake, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric. Monitor data pipelines to ensure reliability.
  • Data Modeling & Prototyping (20-25%)
  • Design data models, build prototypes, and evaluate new data platforms to optimize data structure for accessibility and analysis.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration & Requirements Gathering (15-20%)
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, define specifications, and deliver reusable data views.
  • Data Integration & Governance (10-15%)
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and secure access across platforms by implementing best practices and compliance standards.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance (10%)
  • Validate data accuracy, run test cases, and conduct regular audits of pipelines and data flows.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2-5+ years of professional experience in data or database administration roles
  • Proficiency with ETL pipelines and tools
  • Strong command of SQL and data modeling
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Fabric preferred)
  • Ability to work onsite in Greenwood Village, CO

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with speech analytics, AI integration, or similar data enrichment technologies
  • Familiarity with agile project environments and version control systems
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
