Job Description

Title: Database Administrator 2
Location: Austin, TX; Hybrid - 2 days onsite in

We are looking to place an experienced Database Administrator 2 with 7+ years Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, data modeling, ADF/Informatica, and Salesforce.
Your role:
  • Lead complex technical database initiatives.
  • Collaborate with application developers, analysts, and IT teams to ensure proper data integration and security.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards for all database interfaces and support users with EIR accessibility issues.
  • Assist in software installation, disaster recovery planning, and execution of database backup and recovery procedures.
  • Monitor and improve database performance through performance tuning and optimization.
  • Develop, debug, and document PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and database triggers for reporting and application use.
  • Design, prototype, and implement logical and physical relational data models, including ER diagrams and source-to-target mappings.
  • Evaluate user requests and integrate new data elements into existing data environments, maintaining consistency and integrity.
  • Modify and enhance database programs to improve system performance and align with evolving user needs.
  • Support development and maintenance of integrated database systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and accessibility across multiple applications and user groups.
What you've got:
  • 7+ years evaluating user requests and implementing new data elements within shared environments.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Informatica, and similar data modeling tools.
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse structures and database performance benchmarks.
  • Ability to write and maintain PL/SQL, stored procedures, and database triggers.
  • Skilled in scripting, database object implementation, and ETL support through mapping documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle cloud RDBMS and Salesforce CRM environments.
  • Strong background in relational database modeling, including logical and physical schema development.
  • Effective communicator with experience supporting stakeholders and addressing technical challenges.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively, applying creativity and judgment to complex tasks.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with PERL scripts, Tableau dashboards, and holding certifications in ADF or Informatica.
