About the Company:

We're the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) within Lloyds Banking Group, promoting Data and Analytics practice and culture.

About the Data Resilience Team:

A new team responsible for defining and embedding strategies, operating models, and control frameworks to protect critical data services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for operational resilience.

Team Objectives:
  1. Identify and define critical data assets supporting Important Business Services (IBS).
  2. Assess resilience levels around those assets.
  3. Collaborate with Platform and Engineering Teams to improve data resilience.
  4. Manage end-to-end delivery of data resilience, including requirements gathering, tooling, and embedding latest technologies like Gen AI/ML.
About the Role:

Drive integration of AI systems into operational and data resilience frameworks, focusing on risk mitigation, compliance, and ensuring AI-enabled processes are resilient and explainable.

About You:
  • Experience in operational resilience, risk management, or business continuity in financial services or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML technologies, model governance, responsible AI principles.
  • Understanding of machine learning models, NLP, AI algorithms, and model lifecycle.
  • Ability to assess and mitigate AI risks such as bias and model drift.
  • Familiarity with resilience frameworks and regulations (e.g., PRA SS1/21, FCA PS21/3, DORA, NIST AI RMF).
  • Experience with AI/ML platforms and monitoring tools (e.g., MLflow, Azure ML, SageMaker, Python).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Technical background in AI/ML, data science, or software engineering.
  • Experience with cloud-native AI environments and SaaS AI products.
  • Exposure to incident response and major technology failure events.
