Data Systems Architect and Integration Lead to join the team.
The
Data Systems Architect and Integration Lead will:
- Develop and lead the implementation of data and document management strategies across internal operations, databases, storage systems, and public-facing systems within the Curation Collections.
- Design integrated systems, tools, and processes that promote standardized, scalable, and sustainable data and document management, in close partnership with the Curation Collections Management Team.
- Collaborate with a wide range of internal (e.g., NASA customers, lab personnel) and external stakeholders (e.g., IT/security teams, developers, public application users) to identify system requirements, data relationships, and optimization opportunities and lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of system updates.
- Establish and maintain robust data and document governance policies to ensure quality, compliance, security, and consistency across the department.
- Create and implement standards for data and document quality, including establishing routines for quality monitoring.
