EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelors Degree
Three years of teaching and leadership experience
Expertise in working with Eduphoria Aware Software Application
CERTIFICATION :
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate by the State Board for Educator Certification
High School Diplomas and college/university degrees must be obtained from an accredited program or university approved by the United States Department of Education and the Texas Education Agency.
PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY :
Coordinate and provide professional development services for teachers district- wide ensuring quality analysis of data with Eduphoria Aware and intervention development to improve the quality of classroom instruction. Aligns the use of resources and materials for universal screeners such as MAP and district end-of-unit assessments.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides data analysis and assessment support and professional development for campus personnel (principals, assistant principals, academic deans, counselors, teachers) to ensure a consistent and effective use of data at all campuses to improve classroom instruction.
2. Assists campus with data analysis, planning, and student goal setting.
3. Maintains frequent communication with the Division of Instruction regarding campus support.
4. Works collaboratively with other specialists and campus personnel to promote the use of data analysis, including differentiated instruction and using data to guide instructional decisions.
5. Monitors student achievement in all content areas by reviewing and analyzing formative and summative assessments, including benchmark, district, and state assessments.
6. Creates and customizes reports through Eduphoria Aware and other software applications as needed.
7. Models the use of data to drive instructional decisions, including the use of the district data management system.
8. Assists in the scanning, scoring, and analysis of formative and summative assessments including benchmarks and common assessments.
9. Plans, presents, and evaluates professional development programs, workshops, and seminars for teachers related to assessment and data analysis to improve the quality of classroom instruction.
10. Collaborates with campus personnel to facilitate the integration of emerging technologies in the classroom.
11. Fosters and promotes collegiality and team building throughout the community.
12. Works cooperatively with the Division of Instruction to improve student achievement.
13. Commits to continued professional growth by participating in professional development.
14. Provides professional development outside of the regularly scheduled workday, including Saturdays.
15. Manages personal time effectively, including maintaining a daily log of activities.
16. Maintains confidentiality of information.
17. Reports to work on time every day.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Advanced knowledge of Eduphoria Aware Software Application
Proficient use of various computer hardware and software systems, including Microsoft products such as Word, PowerPoint and Publisher
Strong preparation in the area of data analysis
Skill and ability to utilize technology to aid instruction, assessment and learning
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Valid Texas Driver's License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District
