TRC's client has an opportunity for Data Solutions Specialist to join their team.
This opportunity is with a leading aviation manufacturer in San Jose offering significant growth opportunities.
The Data Solutions Specialist will create visualization for manufacturing operations data and automate processes. Responsibilities including gathering requirements, data cleansing, dashboard creation, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze existing business processes and workflows within the Quality department to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Develop new dashboards and reports to track key quality metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Upgrade and optimize existing reporting frameworks to improve data accessibility and visualization.
• Support data integration efforts across multiple systems, including Slack, SAP, Jira, Power BI, Snowflake, Sigma, and Mendix.
• Document and standardize processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
• Provide training and support to Quality team members on new tools and dashboards.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making iterative improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality, business process analysis, or data analytics role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for process optimization.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Sigma.
• Experience with SAP and understanding of ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to driving continuous improvement.
Bonus:
• Experience working in the aerospace, automotive, or other highly regulated industries.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
• Prior experience in change management and process automation initiatives.
