Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to develop features using pre-trained Generative AI models at Globality. This role focuses on leveraging existing Large Language Models (LLMs) and applying techniques such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and prompt engineering to optimize AI performance and integrate models effectively into our enterprise applications. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product management, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation, enhance feature adoption, and generate value for Globality. The ideal candidate will explore and implement solutions to track, monitor, and continuously improve our AI ecosystem. We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses exceptional problem-solving skills.
This is a hybrid position that requires at least 3 days a week in our Palo Alto HQ.
What you will be doing: - Implement and optimize features using pre-trained Generative AI models
- Develop solutions leveraging techniques like retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and prompt engineering
- Integrate LLMs into applications and enhance model outputs for better performance and usability
- Work with AI/ML frameworks and tools to deploy and scale AI-powered solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into AI-driven applications
- Stay updated on advancements in Generative AI and recommend best practices and tools
What we are looking for: - 3+ years of relevant professional work experience in data science or a similar role
- M.S. or Ph.D. in AI/ML, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related STEM field
- Strong proficiency in AI/ML techniques including classification, clustering, optimization, deep learning, and generative AI
- Experience integrating LLMs into applications and optimizing their outputs
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Ability to iterate on AI features for performance improvements and user experience enhancements
- Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and prompt engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with stakeholders across product, design, and engineering
The anticipated annual pay scale for this position is $140,000 - $200,00. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
