Job Title: Data Scientist
Work Location: Tysons, VA
Duration: Long-term contract
Job Description & Responsibilities: - This position will be at Customer site in Tyson's corner, VA.
- Collaborate with data and subject matter experts from C3 AI and its customer teams to seek, understand, validate, interpret, and correctly use data and business insights
- Train, validate and deploy machine learning pipelines
- Test, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications with and on behalf of customers
- Identify application performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
- Write application specifications, tutorials and documentation
Skills & Qualifications: - MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent fields
- Candidates May start as CLEARABLE - active Secret desired.
- Applied Machine Learning experience (regression and classification, supervised, and unsupervised learning)
- Strong mathematical background (linear algebra, calculus, probability and statistics)
- Proficiency in time-series data analysis, cleansing, and normalization
- Experience with scalable Machine Learning (MapReduce, streaming)
- Software development experience with JavaScript and Python
- Experience with Git or other version control software
- Ability to drive a project and work both independently and in a team
- Smart, motivated, can do attitude, and seeks to make a difference
- Excellent verbal and written communication
