Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join a government contract upon award. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional with a strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data engineering, who thrives in a mission-critical environment. You will work on high-impact projects that support national security and intelligence operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models and statistical algorithms to solve complex problems.
• Lead data science projects from ideation through deployment, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and domain experts.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with federal standards.

Qualification

• Active Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics)
• 8+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.

Required Skills/Technologies

• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data manipulation tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of data governance and secure data handling practices.
• Experience with DevOps and MLOps pipelines.
